How to add a page in Google Search Console
To add a page to Google Search Console you’ll need to upload the page that you want to include. Make sure that you have your main website URL in there, for example, “test.github.com”. If you don’t, click the “Link this page to Search Console” button. You will need to save your changes and click the “Save Changes” button. How to edit your link profile (Go-to Link) When you are done adding a page, there are still ways to improve the quality of your link profile. From the Options menu in the “Link profile” section click the “Edit link profile” button. You can choose to edit the link profile by selecting a page from the dropdown and click the “Edit link profile” button.
How to redirect a page on your website
Step 1: Select the internal links In your Google Search Console, you can select the internal links on your site by clicking on the +[CTRL]+[P] icon. This will provide you with a list of all the pages on your website that contain your URL. Select a page from the list to begin the redirect process. Step 2: Create a 301 redirect A redirect is simply a way to get a page from one site to another one. Go to your redirects tab and click on Create New. Add the URL of the page that you want to redirect, and then enter a 301 redirect code. The code is a secret that Google doesn’t have access to, so you can continue adding redirects to the list. Step 3: Specify a staging page You’ll also need to create a staging page that’s exactly like the one you want to redirect.
